Hmmm….what did I do today?

Started with a couple of phone calls and then headed off to the local market for this weeks supplies. Our local market is just around the corner from here and is one of the nicest in the locality – with prices to match!
Don’t ever get the impression that food bought from the market is cheaper than that from the ordinary shops because it is not usually – what you are buying is freshness and choice.

Anyway, I am now well stocked up with fruit, veg and some more cheese from the cheese stall – very fresh goat and a mature St Felician.

Lunch was a gorgeous slice of pizza from one of the charcuterie stalls where I also bought cooked ham, aligote and creamed spinach for tonight’s supper. France is all about food…..!
